Terms of delivery
Valid as of 1 July 2016.
The products in the web shop are sold by Private Case Oy, Business ID 2926847-3. The products are available for purchase by customers over 18 years of age in Finland and within the EU. Prices include VAT. Private Case reserves the right to make changes to prices and delivery costs.
For orders outside of the EU, please contact us directly.
Ordering products and order confirmation
Products are primarily ordered online from www.privatecase.fi by using the shopping cart facility.
All orders are confirmed via an email message that includes the order total, the delivery costs, and a list of the items ordered. In order to receive an order confirmation, you have to enter your email address when placing the order.
By ordering products from our web shop you indicate that you accept our Terms of delivery.
Advance payments and order confirmation
We will send an order confirmation, which includes:
the reference number
our bank account details
the invoice total
You can check the order contents by logging in to your account on our website.
The payment for products and related delivery costs is made when placing the order. The following methods of payment are accepted: Nordea, OP Bank, Danske Bank, LocalTapiola Bank, S-Bank, Aktia, Nooa, Paikallisosuuspankit (local co-operative banks), Säästöpankit (Savings banks), Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, and payment cards. Payments are processed via Paytrail Oyj. Optionally, advance payments via a bank transfer are also accepted.
Payment service provider
Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) acts as an implementer of the payment handling service and as a Payment Service Provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient in the invoice and Paytrail Oyj will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is an authorized Payment Institution. For reclamations, please contact the website where the payment was made.

Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) provides netbank related payment transfer services in co-operation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For consumers, the service works in exactly the same way as with traditional web payments.
Your products will be dispatched once we receive the payment in our bank account. Cash on delivery is not available. Please make payment to

We will process your order once the payment has been made during shop opening hours. If the payment method selected is advance payment via bank transfer, your order is valid for up to five working days. If the payment is not made within this period, the order will expire.
Delivery time is 1–2 weeks from your order. Products sewn from recycled leather (Olga laptop case, Oliver laptop case, Laptop Case 13″, iPad Case, iPad Mini Case, A5 calendar and notebook in leather case, A5 calendar with pencil clasp, A5 calendar cover, passport cover, luggage tag, All You Need case) are delivered within 2–3 weeks from order. Orders to EU countries are shipped via air freight.
Delivery method and costs
Transport and packaging charges are included in the delivery costs, which vary between €8.40 and €20.30 (Finland) depending on the size of the order. You can check the delivery costs after selecting the payment method and delivery method for your purchase.
Optionally, you can collect your purchased items without delivery costs directly from Puurtajantie 3, 15880 Hollola, Finland.
Return and exchange policy
In accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, you have the right to exchange and/or return an item within 14 days of receiving your order. The right of return applies only to items that are new, unused, and in their original packaging. Delivery costs for returned items are covered by the customer.
Include the following information when returning products:
your customer number, name, address, email address and telephone number,
and a copy of Private Case Oy’s order confirmation or delivery note.

We will not accept returns after 14 business days.
Return delivery costs are paid by the customer. The return delivery cost is deducted from the refund.
Refunds or shipments of exchanged products are made within 14 days of receipt of the returned products. After receipt and processing of the returned products, a refund will be made to the original payment method via Paytrail.

Notifications of shipment errors or defective products must be made within 14 business days of receiving your order. If the package was damaged during shipment, a complaint must also be made to the shipping company.
